Physiotherapy
Hands-on physiotherapy grounded in evidence, experience and whole-body understanding.

How we work
Our approach to physiotherapy is hands-on, evidence-based, and whole-body focused. We begin with a thorough assessment to understand not only where symptoms are felt, but how different parts of the body, movement patterns, load, and lifestyle factors may be contributing.
Treatment is tailored to the individual and may include manual therapy, dry needling, movement-based rehabilitation, electrotherapy (TENS) and practical education. We prioritize clear communication, helping clients understand what is happening in their body and why certain strategies are recommended.
Rather than relying on one-size-fits-all protocols, we work collaboratively, adapting treatment as the body responds and supporting long-term function, confidence, and resilience.
Who we work with
We work with people who value a thoughtful, personalized approach to physiotherapy, including those who:
-
Have sustained a recent injury or flare-up
-
Are dealing with persistent or recurring pain
-
Feel “stuck” despite previous treatment
-
Want a hands-on, thorough assessment
-
Are active, working, or managing physical demands day to day
-
Want to better understand their body and recovery process
You don’t need a clear diagnosis to begin — many people come in simply knowing that something doesn’t feel right.
We work with both ACC and non-ACC clients and can lodge ACC claims as part of your initial appointment where appropriate.

Common Presentations
We commonly work with a range of movement and pain presentations, including:
-
Acute injuries (e.g. strains, sprains, sudden onset pain)
-
Persistent or chronic pain conditions
-
Overuse and load-related issues
-
Work-related or lifestyle-related discomfort
-
Postural or movement pattern-related pain
-
Joint, muscle, and soft tissue complaints
-
Pre- and post-surgery
-
Vertigo
Many people present with a combination of factors, and treatment is guided by individual assessment rather than labels.
